Anglican Diocese of Bathurst

Holy Trinity Orange is located in the Western NSW Anglican Diocese of Bathurst.

The Diocese covers about a third of NSW, stretching from the Blue Mountains to the Queensland border.  The regional church office is in Bathurst, assisting the region's 28 Parishes.

The Anglican Church is territoriality organised, with the diocese usually being the basic unit of administration.
There are seven dioceses in NSW and twenty three in Australia. The Diocese of Bathurst was formed in 1870, and covers the region bordered by:
  • South - Oberon, Cowra and West Wyalong
  • West -  Cobar and Bourke,
  • North-west - Coonamble and Coonabarabran,
  • East - Coolah, Mudgee and Rylstone.

Bishop Mark Calder was installed on the 23rd November 2019 as the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Bathurst.
Bishop Mark has made available Traditional & Contemporary Services for access online, see current and past services here.
